Sometimes, during the process of designing a golf course, you receive an unexpected good surprise. This is the case for this hole. We were initially concerned about the location of the tees, which were proposed on the other side of #7 green. During construction we realized we might be able to relocate the tees to their present location. The result, in our opinion is a beautiful par 3 that occupies the highest elevation on the property. This hole plays very straight forward. The bunkers that surround the back of the putting surface, only affect a very poorly played shot. Trust your distance and your swing and play to the middle of the green.
